Camera Ready & Copyright

Camera ready and copyright form submission deadline is April 30th.

All accepted papers will be published in IEEE NEWCAS 2015 proceedings and will be available on IEEE Xplore.

IMPORTANT: At least one author per paper must be registered as non-student until May 10th to have the paper included in conference program and proceedings. One non-student registration can cover up to 2 papers.

 

Camera Ready Submissions

  • ALL final submissions must be made on-line from Easychair website; proceedings version
  • Email submissions will NOT be accepted;
  • Please take into account mandatory camera ready specifications mentioned below;
  • If you need to edit any author information or resubmit your paper, it may be done up until the final paper submission deadline. Use the author account you created during initial submission, to edit or resubmit;
  • It is the responsibility of the author(s) to ensure that all conditions for paper publishing are met.

 

Copyright Form Submissions

  • IEEE policy requires that you send us a signed Copyright Form for each paper. Without this form, we can NOT publish your article;
  • Template of copyright form:

- Fill in the TITLE of the pape;.

- Fill in ALL author names;

- PLEASE MARK YOUR SUBMISSION NUMBER IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE FORM;

- SIGN the form.

  • Email a scanned copy of the form (including your hand written signature) to: yannis.leguennec@phelma.grenoble-inp.fr
  • Please indicate "Copyright form submission XX", in the email subject, XX being your paper ID (paper submission number). A signed copy of the IEEE copyright form must be sent for each accepted paper.

 

Camera Ready Specifications

  1. While preparing the final version of your paper, please make sure to read the reviews of your paper and take into account the reviewers' recommendations for revising it. Each accepted manuscript should not exceed four (4) IEEE style pages.

  2. IMPORTANT: as part of the final submission, please include a copy of Copyright Clearance Code (CCC) Notice (see below to identify the right CCC Notice) in the footnote below any funding/sponsor declaration only on the first page of the paper (see Template with CCC notice)

  3. No page numbers should be used in the final camera-ready paper

  4. Final paper must be submitted as PDF file and comply with IEEE Format for Conference paper submission. IEEE PDF compliance must be checked through the IEEE PDF eXpress web site (see following section). Authors should obtain a clean compliance report from IEEE PDF eXpress

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is:

MANDATORY: USE IEEE PDF eXpress to ensure your PDF is Xplore compliant

  • PDF file MUST be IEEE Xplore compliant
  • Paper Length: Maximum 4 pages, including figures, tables & references
  • Paper Size: US Letter (8.5" x 11") or A4 (210mm X 297mm)
  • Fonts: Embed ALL fonts in your PDF file. No Type 3 fonts allowed.
  • File Format: Adobe PDF (.pdf)
  • Allowed File Size: 2.0Mb
  • Do NOT page number your paper
  • Do NOT apply security settings to your PDF file.

To help you meet the above paper specifications, please use the IEEE templates.

Deviations from above paper specifications could result in removal of your accepted paper from the proceedings.

 

IEEE PDF eXpress

Steps for creating your Xplore compliant PDF file:

  1. Create your manuscript
  2. Proofread and check layout of manuscript. (It is highly recommended that you do this BEFORE going to PDF eXpress.)
  3. Create PDF eXpress account
  4. Upload source file(s) for Conversion; and/or PDF(s) for Checking
  5. Use PDF eXpress to attain Xplore-compatible PDFs. The site contains extensive instructions, resources, and helpful hints.
  6. IMPORTANT: After finishing with the PDF eXpress web site, return to the Easychair website to submit your Xplore-compatible PDF(s).

Using PDF eXpress:

  1. Click link to go to the PDF eXpress web site.
  2. Once at the PDF eXpress web site, create a new account by clicking on "New Users - Click Here" link.
  3. Enter 35517X for the Conference ID
  4. Continue to enter information as prompted. You will receive an email confirming the successful creation of your account.
  5. Through your PDF eXpress account, you may submit your source application files for conversion to PDF, and/or submit PDFs for checking. You will have the opportunity to revise your submission if you are not satisfied with the PDF that PDF eXpress creates for you, if you find mistakes in your manuscript, or if your PDF fails the PDF Check.
